SOCIAL PROGRAM

The social program of the congress consists of a Welcome Cocktail, a Congress Dinner and a Gala Dinner.
Welcome Cocktail will take place in the Santral Campus of İstanbul Bilgi University on July 21st, between 17:30 and 21:00, following registration. Congress Dinner will also be held in Santral Campus and is scheduled for July 23rd, beginning at 19:30 and ending around 22:30. At the end of both events, shuttle services will be provided to transport participants to Taksim area.
Gala Dinner will be held in Küçüksu Kasrı, which is an historic pavilion on the Anatolian side of the Bosphorus. On July 25th at 18:30, following the Shapley lecture, participants will be taken by bus to a small port nearby, called Feshane. Boats that are planned to leave from Feshane will take participants to a small cruise that includes the Golden Horn and part of the Bosphorus, which will end at Küçüksu Kasrı. At the end of the dinner, shuttle services will be provided to transport participants to Taksim area. At the end of the dinner, participants will have a night cruise back to a peer located at the entrance of the Golden Horn, from where a shuttle service to the hotel areas will operate. Note that this peer (Eminonü) is at a walking distance from the Tophane residence.
On July 21st, a shuttle service between Taksim and Santral campus, and between Pera to Santral campus, will operate from 16:00. The first shuttle back to these hotel areas will leave Santral campus at 21:00. The pick up point for shuttles are: in front of the Grand Hyatt Hotel (Taskisla Caddesi) for the Taksim area, and in front of Pera Palace (Tepebaşı Çamlık Sokak) for the Pera area.
